Universal Motorcycle Exhaust Heat Wrap Basalt Fiber Tape

This is a basalt fiber heat wrap tape for insulating motorcycle exhaust pipes and mufflers, suitable for use on bikes such as the Yamaha XT660 and Ducati Scrambler as well as other motorcycles with similar pipe diameters. The tape is made from fiberglass/basalt fiber material in a titanium gold finish and is sold in 5m, 10m, or 15m coil lengths. It wraps around the exhaust pipe to reduce surface heat and manage exhaust noise, and is supplied with stainless steel zip ties and gloves for installation.

Installation & Modification

Wrap the tape around the exhaust pipe or muffler body, starting by fixing the end with the buckle, then winding evenly with roughly 90% overlap for a thicker, more effective wrap. Gloves should be worn during installation since the fiber material can irritate skin on contact. Professional installation or custom exhaust pipe fabrication is recommended for optimal fitment.
